Garnet Cloud/Xinjiang Daily News (Reporter Zhang Wande reported) February 3, in Xinjiang to complete the cold test of a 3C storage and charging mobile station and 4 sets of 49-ton XCMG cold-resistant electric heavy-duty trucks, arrived in Xinjiang Turpan City, Torqen County, Alevui Town, and will remain here to be put into use directly. On that day, 2 companies in Xinjiang ordered 150 units of 49-ton cold-resistant electric heavy trucks.
It is reported that many heavy trucks currently operating in Xinjiang mining areas are trailers pulling Little Bee coal containers, and according to the vehicle's dead weight plus container weight, the actual net load weight of a 49-ton heavy truck is 30 tons, while the standard loading capacity of Little Bee containers is about 32 tons, and insufficient quantities need to be replenished.
In June 2023, the first XCMG heavy truck modified to carry a net load of 32 tons of coal and mounted with a Winergy 300-2 ultra-low-temperature power battery was put into Xinjiang Wanyitong New Energy Co. for actual testing.
